Fix Your Sleep Disorder

Editorial policy

Sourcing

Every health claim on this site must trace to a source we link. Our order of preference:

  1. Primary health authorities — NIH, NHLBI, CDC, MedlinePlus, NHS
  2. Specialty bodies — American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Sleep Research Society
  3. Peer-reviewed research, preferring systematic reviews and meta-analyses over single studies
  4. Clinical reference works with a named review process

We avoid citing other content sites as authorities for medical claims. If a fact is only found on a blog, it isn’t established enough for us to state it.

Pages record the date they were last checked against their sources.

What we will not publish

Independence

We have no commercial relationship with any device manufacturer, supplement seller, mattress brand, or sleep clinic. Nothing on this site is a paid placement.

If that changes — for example if we add advertising or affiliate links — we will say so here and label it on the affected pages, before it goes live rather than after.

AI use

Our articles are AI-drafted and automatically published against the gates described in how we make our content. We disclose this because readers evaluating a health page deserve to know how it was made.

Corrections

We would genuinely rather be corrected than be wrong quietly.

If you find an error — a misread source, a dead citation, outdated guidance, or a claim that overreaches what the evidence supports — tell us. Substantive corrections are made to the page and noted on it with the date. We do not silently edit a page to hide that it was wrong.

Limitations we accept

We do not employ clinicians, so no page here has had expert clinical review. This is a real ceiling on what this site can responsibly claim, and it is why every page routes decisions back to a qualified professional rather than resolving them for you.
